Business Events Victoria’s aim is to grow regional Victoria’s share of the meetings, conference and events market by working collaboratively to demonstrate the quality and diversity of conference venues, services and settings in regional Victoria.
The brand refresh included modernising the existing logo and the introduction of the tagline ‘Where people and ideas meet… naturally’. This tagline allows Business Events Victoria to leverage the natural beauty of regional Victoria as a significant competitive advantage.
Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency was challenged to revitalise the 2012/2013 Regional Victoria Planner’s Guide. A fresh new creative direction was developed and record levels of member advertising achieved. Business Events Victoria and Frank Lane continue to work in partnership launching the 2019/2020 edition of this highly successful annual program that delivers over $17m of potential economic value to the Victorian economy.

Air Adventure engaged Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency in early 2017 to work with them on a complete refresh of their next annual brochure the ‘2018 Guide to Incredible Safaris by Private Aircraft’.
All elements of the brochure were reviewed to ensure Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency developed a new brochure that was not only visually stunning but helped tell the Air Adventure story in a memorable and compelling way that ultimately will drive more bookings.
Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency developed an all-new design style that was underpinned by amazing images from respected photographer Ewen Bell. We also reformatted the existing layout and worked with the team at Air Adventure to select print finishes that ultimately delivered a brochure that our client loved!
For a company that has been making the Australian outback and remote Africa accessible for over 41 years by luxury private aircraft we wanted to ensure this new brochure resonated with their clients and excited them about taking new and additional adventures.
Links Property engaged Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency in 2013 to assist with a brand refresh and to develop a ‘signature’ brochure that communicated the Links Property point of difference.
Links Property is an all-female team that specialises in buying, selling and renting on the Surf Coast. They required a brand and associated collateral that reflects their unique approach to ‘Linking people with property’.

While in and out of lockdowns, we recently completed the brand refresh for gforce employment + recruitment. The brand refresh included a memorable new logo, eye catching colour scheme, brand guidelines, printed assets and signage for all of their Victorian locations.
Serving as a vital member of our community for almost 40 years, gforce employment + recruitment asked us to design a new visual identity that provides strong visual separation from other logos used in our region and the broader employment and recruitment sector. While doing so, we also assisted in developing a strategy that grouped it's multiple brands into one single strong brand.

Park Pods engaged Frank Lane in mid 2017 for the Australian launch of their eco-friendly glamping accommodation range.
Set to become the next 'must-have' accommodation option for caravan and holiday parks across Australia.
Frank Lane developed the Park Pods brand which speaks to the eco-friendly values of this company and premium quality of the final hand-crafted timber product.
A suite of marketing collateral including a responsive website, brochure, stationery and tradeshow display banners has been developed to align with the brand values of Park Pods.

Colac Otway Shire first appointed Frank Lane to produce their Annual Report 2008/2009. Working closely with the Colac Otway Shire Communications team each subsequent year we have been challenged to develop new and relevant design themes for their Annual Report. This work has been acknowledged for its excellence with Stock Exchange Gold Medals for design and production work.
Frank Lane has also undertaken design and production work for Colac Otway Shire on other significant projects including: Council Plans, Environmental Strategy, Councillor Induction Kit and display banners.
Frank Lane was approached by a group of Queensland regional tourism organisations in late 2016 about working with them and Tourism Events Queensland to develop a new touring program that would link the Great Barrier Reef from Bundaberg to Cape York.
This was a challenge we couldn’t resist as we love working with iconic tourism destinations.
This project included undertaking an advertising sales program to industry, copywriting, design and production, including implementing the new Tourism Events Queensland brand along with translation of the brochure into Chinese, Japanese, French and German.
The project included print management of 350,000 copies (170,000 in English, 60,000 in French, 60,000 in German, 30,000 in Chinese, 30,000 in Japanese) along with digital guides.

Air Radiators is a Geelong based world-class business committed to the design and manufacture of innovative heat transfer and air movement solutions in partnership with their customers. These customers include global brands such as Kenworth, Caterpillar, Hitachi, Terex, Iveco and Bombardier.
Air Radiators first engaged Frank Lane in 2010 to assist with the development of a marketing strategy, brand re-fresh and to build a new responsive website.
The brand re-fresh included modernising the existing logo and development of a detailed style guide to ensure consistent application of the brand across the entire company including their plants in Adelaide, Perth and Thailand.
Air Radiators is made up of four core business units Industrial, Off Highway, On Highway and Process Cooling along with significant proprietary technologies that are used across each of the business units. The challenge for Frank Lane was to develop a new responsive website that showcased each of the business units whilst linking the competitive advantage offered by these proprietary technologies. Considerable thought was given to the website architecture to ensure it met the clients needs in a complex and multifaceted business. The website was built using the Drupal CMS allowing easy management of content by Air Radiators staff. We delivered an outstanding final product that provides a strong digital presence and continues to assist grow the Air Radiators business.
Frank Lane has also produced corporate brochures, presentation folders, fact sheets, trade show displays, display banners, stationery, product packaging, corporate videos, sales presentations with a focus on ensuring consistent application of the Air Radiators brand.
Pivot Homes has been recognised and awarded for innovative design, quality of construction and value for money with multiple awards across both the Housing Industry Association and Master Builders Association across Geelong and Surf Coast including: Home of the Year, Custom Home of the Year & Display Home of the Year. In 2015 when looking for an agency to assist them with their rebrand they chose Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency.
The rebrand included the creation of a new brandmark, font selection and colour scheme. The new brand reflects the complex custom builds they undertake and acknowledges the natural coastal and rural settings in which they undertake many of these builds.
Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency continues to work with Pivot Homes having produced a new corporate brochure, display homes brochures, print advertising, signage, vehicle signage and stationery whilst ensuring a consistent application of the new Pivot Homes brand.
Frank Lane has worked closely with LBW Chartered Accountants on their marketing and design since 2007. In 2016 when the firm decided to re-brand they again partnered with Frank Lane.
The re-brand included a series of workshops with partners and staff that was facilitated by Frank Lane and effectively drove this process of change.
In early 2017 LBW celebrated the launch of their new name and logo - LBW Business + Wealth Advisors. The reasoning behind the new name was to recognise the shift in services they provide to clients and to align with the future direction of the firm. Whilst they remain a Chartered Accounting Firm and continue with their traditional compliance and tax return services. The new name recognises the growth in their service offerings over the last 3-4 years and reflects all that LBW offers – more than just accounting. These services include business advice and overall wealth creation and retirement planning advice.
The new logo saw the introduction of the plus symbol +. The plus symbol is reflective of what they offer to clients, staff and their community connections. It represents partnerships and working together collaboratively to identify and meet the individual needs of all these connections.
Frank Lane has also worked with LBW Business + Wealth Advisors to produce a new corporate presentation folder, fact sheets, signage, display banners, stationery and website interface whilst ensuring a consistent application of the new brand.
In 2003 Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency was approached by VicParks (Victorian Caravan Parks Association) to produce the inaugural Victoria Cabin, Caravan & Camping Guide. The project included undertaking an advertising sales program to their members throughout Victoria, copywriting, design and production, print management and overseeing a statewide distribution program. The program was a huge success.
We have since produced 20 editions of the guide and distributed over 2 million copies of this iconic tourism brochure throughout Victoria and around Australia.
Over the past 20 years Frank Lane has also worked with VicParks on a brand refresh, development of a responsive website for members and the public, along with design and production of trade show displays, display banners, signage, stationery and video production.
Most importantly the partnership between VicParks and Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency has helped significantly grow the Victorian caravan parks industry. This growth has allowed more visitors to experience ‘the best locations, close to nature’.
In 2013 shortly after being formed Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism appointed Frank Lane to produce their print collateral and develop their corporate brand.
The signature project each year is the production of the Great Ocean Road Travel Planner. This project includes copywriting, design and production, advertiser administration and print management. The brochure aims to provide visitors with unique insights to the Great Ocean Road region.
Each year we also work with Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism to produce the Great Ocean Road Touring Map and Destination Guides for Torquay, Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, Apollo Bay & Otways, 12 Apostles & Hinterland, Warrnambool and Port Fairy.
When the region has been effected by crisis including bushfire and road closures due to landslides Frank Lane has worked in partnership with Ocean Road Regional Tourism and emergency services to develop mapping that assists visitors safely navigate the region.
The partnership between Ocean Road Regional Tourism and Frank Lane has helped grow the visitor economy within this region. We take great pride in the fact we help visitors create life long memories in this iconic tourism destination.

Great Southern Touring Route (GSTR) is a not-for-profit, incorporated association established to co-operatively market its member regions (Geelong & The Bellarine, Great Ocean Road, Grampians and Ballarat) and participating tourism products to the international travel trade.
Great Southern Touring Route and Frank Lane have worked together since 1999. This long-term partnership has seen massive growth, amazing outcomes and always embraced the latest in technology.
Over this time Frank Lane has delivered a brand re-fresh, an annual partnership sales program, website development, iOS app development and regular eDM distribution. Along with design and production of their annual trade manual, touring map, trade show displays, promotional banners, stationery and brochure translation into Chinese, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Slovenian and Spanish.

In early 2019, Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council engaged Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency to produce the Queanbeyan-Palerang Visitor Guide 2020.
Our brief was to produce a new visitor guide that clearly communicates the broad range of tourism product and the many experiences available within the Queanbeyan-Palerang region with the overall objective of increasing engagement and visitor dispersal across the region.
We are extremely pleased with the final brochure and look forward to seeing it help grow the visitor economy in the Queanbeyan-Palerang region.
Situated less than two hours from Canberra, the Hilltops Region – Boorowa, Harden, Young and Jugiong – is renowned for glorious undulating countryside, fresh produce, fascinating pioneering history and exciting events.
Hilltops Council engaged Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency in early 2021 to work with them on a complete refresh of the Hilltops Visitor Guide.
All elements of the brochure were reviewed to ensure Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency developed a new brochure that was not only visually stunning but helped tell the unique story of this compelling region.
A fresh new creative direction was developed and record levels of local operator advertising achieved. This outstanding new brochure that will help tourism operators located in the Hilltops Region recover and thrive post-COVID.
What a fantastic opportunity it was to work with the project team from Colac Otway Shire, Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, and the Forrest Mountain Bike Club on redesigning the Forrest Mountain Bike Trail identity.
The masterbrand symbolises trails and the undulations of the Forrest landscape. The palette reflects colours and tones seen in the local environment and has been designed to be harmonious with the local landscape.
Beyond developing the masterbrand, we presented to our clients how their new logo will look applied in situ. This process provides the client with a tangible vision of how their logo will look in real world applications.
In July 2019, Lorne Community Hospital and Otway Health joined forces to operate as one entity. We had the pleasure of creating the visual identity for Great Ocean Road Health.
We developed a timeless and memorable visual identity based around the tagline 'Great Health'. This tagline is outcome focused and an aspirational call to action. The brandmark symbolises community, connections, and a growing network.

Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency was engaged by Surf Coast Shire to design and publish the Surf Coast Ride Guide in 2021.
The publication was prepared with input from local riders and the Surf Coast Mountain Bike Club.
The map is an invaluable resource for novice and experienced mountain bike riders that want to experience the Anglesea trails.
Since the formation of River's Gift in 2011, Frank Lane has worked with this Geelong charity to develop a strong national brand and achieve their goal of putting Australian SIDS Research back on the world map.
Over this time Frank Lane has assisted with marketing, design and production on a wide range of projects including brand development, brochures, event and fundraising flyers, banners, vehicle wraps and packaging. With many of these projects undertaken pro bono.
