Hot off the press...

Last week we published the 20th edition of the VicParks Victoria Cabin, Caravan and Camping Guide. This is an incredible milestone of which we are extremely proud.

The publication remains the go-to guide for travellers, and the official accommodation guide of the Victorian caravan and holiday parks industry.

In the next 12 months, we will distribute the 2 millionth copy of the guide. To mark the occasion, we have developed a 20th Anniversary logo which we will use to help promote the guide and fulfill our objective of helping to grow the Victorian Caravan parks industry.

While in and out of lockdowns, we recently completed the brand refresh for gforce employment + recruitment. The brand refresh included a memorable new logo, eye catching colour scheme, brand guidelines, printed assets and signage for all of their Victorian locations.

Serving as a vital member of our community for almost 40 years, gforce employment + recruitment asked us to design a new visual identity that provides strong visual separation from other logos used in our region and the broader employment and recruitment sector. While doing so, we also assisted in developing a strategy that grouped it's multiple brands into one single strong brand.

Frank Lane Design & Branding Agency have worked closely with Jarrod’s wife, Briony to develop the Jarrod’s Gift logo and the #DoingItForJarrod graphic.

The Frank Lane team are passionate about pro-bono charity work, and partner with a number of charities. We are thrilled to be assisting this great cause and continuing Jarrod’s mission of helping other children and families with practical support while living with a cancer diagnosis.

Today we were blown away today when we found our pro-bono brand work and the Jarrod’s Gift cause being supported by the golfing world’s GOAT… Jack Nicklaus #GoldenBear #Honoured #DoingItForJarrod

This August, the Australian golf community and Challenge will ask golf clubs around Australia to dedicate a member’s day to the memory of Jarrod Lyle to help raise important funds for Challenge, who support kids living with cancer.

August is a significant month in the life of Jarrod Lyle as it commemorates his birthday and passing. We encourage all golf clubs to get involved in #DoingItForJarrod throughout the months of August and September and help raise funds for Challenge.

Having been diagnosed with cancer three times throughout his life, Jarrod Lyle understood the hardship that young people and their families face when battling this disease. Jarrod was an ambassador for Challenge, and Jarrod’s Gift is the legacy created in his honour. All monies raised through #DoingItForJarrod will go towards Jarrod’s goal of helping Challenge provide practical support throughout a child’s cancer journey.

Challenge supports children and families living with cancer by providing practical programs and services 365 days of the year.

Great Southern Touring Route 2018-2019

Great Southern Touring Route and Frank Lane have worked together since 1999. This long-term partnership has seen massive growth, amazing outcomes and always embraced innovation to ensure the program remains an industry leader within the field of international tourism marketing.

The Great Southern Touring Route program links Geelong & The Bellarine, Great Ocean Road, Grampians and Ballarat Goldfields forming Australia's finest road trip.

The 2018-2019 program included partner sales, copywriting, design and production, including implementing their refreshed brand on the Trade Manual, Itinerary Suite and Website. The Trade Manual was also translated into Simplified Chinese.

The 2018-2019 program was launch on Monday 16 April at Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) in Adelaide.

A fantastic project that we are very proud of the final product and believe it will continue to assist the growth of international visitors in the four partner regions.

I AM 12 Apostles Coast & Hinterland Official Map

I AM 12 Apostles Coast & Hinterland Official Map is ready for Christmas... 75,000 copies hot off the press. Grab a copy from your local visitor information centre to explore what this iconic part of the Great Ocean Road region has to offer.

This new map joins the I AM Warrnambool and I AM Port Fairy Official Maps in a growing suite of regional visitor collateral. Keep an eye out as new guides are currently in production for I AM Torquay, I AM Anglesea and I AM Apollo Bay & Otways.

Frank Lane is proud to work with Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism to help grow the local visitor economy.

Designed in Geelong by Frank Lane and printed in regional Victoria by Centre State Printing.

Park Pods Website

Frank Lane was engaged to develop a new responsive website for Park Pods that showcased their new product range to the Australian caravan park industry.

Considerable thought was given to the website architecture to ensure it met the clients needs and allowed for future growth in the product range. The website was built using Squarespace allowing easy management of content by Park Pods staff. We delivered an outstanding final product that provides a strong digital presence and will assist grow the Park Pods business.

Frank Lane has also produced a corporate brochure, trade show display, display banners and corporate stationery with a focus on ensuring consistent application of the Park Pods brand we developed for this exciting new company in early 2017.

Tourism Events Queensland

Frank Lane was approached by a group of Queensland regional tourism organisations in late 2016 about working with them and Tourism Events Queensland to develop a new touring program that would link the Great Barrier Reef from Bundaberg to Cape York.

This was a challenge we couldn’t resist as we love working with iconic tourism destinations.

This project included undertaking an advertising sales program to industry, copywriting, design and production, including implementing the new Tourism Events Queensland brand along with translation of the brochure into Chinese, Japanese, French and German.

The project included print management of 350,000 copies (170,000 in English, 60,000 in French, 60,000 in German, 30,000 in Chinese, 30,000 in Japanese) along with digital guides.

A fantastic project that we are very proud of the final product that commenced domestic and international distribution in September 2017.

Make Safe Victoria

Make Safe Victoria is a new subsidiary of Basebuild Constructions, a commercial, retail and industrial builder operating through Australia since 2007.

Make Safe Victoria is a specialist enterprise dedicated to helping insurance companies and their customers navigate the post-emergency “Make Safe” phase efficiently, cost-effectively and respectfully.

Frank Lane was engaged by Make Safe Victoria in 2017 to develop their new brand which speaks to the statewide service provided by this company along with the premium service and expert knowledge offered to insurance companies and their customers.

A unique square brochure was created that captures the essence of the Make Safe Victoria service and will be used by them as a component of their sales pitch to insurance companies throughout Australia.

We are changing our name! With over 30 years and considerable energy and passion invested by our entire team into growing Great Southern Destinations Marketing (GSDM) it was a difficult decision for us to move on, but it's time for change.

We'd like to introduce Frank Lane.

We can already hear you ask... who is Frank Lane?

The short story is our Marketing Director Adam Ruggero was born in Frankston whilst our Production Director Shane McGrath was born in Norlane.

Welcome to Frank Lane!

Along with a new name and new office location, we have a fresh new website and branding to go with it. The aim of our new brand is to better articulate what we do best... design & branding.

We're the same people, same company - now with a new look.

As we move into the next generation of our brand, we look forward to the next chapter in our relationship with you.
